KIDS DAY
On the 8th April, the youngest tennis fans and players will take over the city of Katowice. For this day, the organizers of the Katowice Open tournament have prepared a number of fantastic activities, all of which will be attended by a tournament player. Apart from the “KIDS CUP” children’s tournament, displays and demonstrations of police, fire service and ambulance service equipment and vehicles are planned in the Spodek Hall and in the International Congress Centre. Kids Day schedule also includes such great activities as an opportunity to play with this year’s WTA Katowice Open tournament player and Mini Olympic Games, among many others.
The awards ceremony, at which Cups funded by the City of Katowice will be handed to the best KIDS CUP players, is scheduled to be held at the Spodek Centre Court on the 12th April (Sunday) at 3.00 pm.
We are inviting all the youngest tennis fans together with their parents/accompanying adults to send their applications to kidscup@katowiceopen.com.
